tunning question????
I am running an ls/vtec that I just built. My set up is as followed.
b18b bottom
gsr head
type r oil pump
arp bolts all around
the block has been machined
CTR pistons
Hondata s200 computer
gsr tranny
OBX Stage I cams
Im only planning on running this setup for about 3 months because of the compression that the motor is going to yield with the CTR pistons. Im not planning on reving it over 8000 and probaly not over 7800. My question is this, with using hondata and running 93 or 94 octane fuel is this setup with the compression ratio at almost 13:1 last for the 3 months until I get the money to put new pistons and redue the valve train???? Im probaly going to go ls/vtec turbo after this summer as long as thsi motor doesnt blow up.
