Default Tune up parts

I need help because no f ing website can give me a straight answer. What Parts are included in a tune up? spark plugs and what else? I searched online and so many websites tell me different things. Also are ngk spark plugs good option for my del sol?

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter. NGK for plugs and wires, OEM for cap, rotor, and fuel filter. While doing this, it's not a bad idea to check ignition timing.

ngk standard plugs are the ONLY option. wires aren't necessary unless not in spec. if you have the money and don't feel like cracking out the multimeter, buy new ones. fuel filter as narc said, cap and rotor are also wise. how far you need to take it depends on the history of the car. a valve adjustment is free and easy, and can make a big difference if things are out of spec. pcv valve is also very cheap, and often overlooked.

Also, Accel wires are a good option to NGK. I'm 4 years into my Accel wires and still doing okay which is right on par with NGK. If Accel is more affordable in your area, it's not a bad deal as they are comparable.

This is for wires only. Plugs need to be NGK, and no one makes comparable cap and rotor to OEM from my experience so far.

Fuel filter I didn't do OEM, instead bought from my old lube shop and it's been fine. Don't know what brand it is though.

Air filter is another good tune up thing to do as it will affect fuel economy. And PCV is definitely over looked and a cheap item to swap.

All great advise in this thread so far.
