Default trying to fix a dent

1990 honda ccord dx. i have two small dent on my passenger side door. one is right in the middle of the door the second one is one the edge of the door, to the left of the door handle.

my question is how do you guys usually deal with dents....

do you guys take it to the mechanics???

or do those "dent pullers" they sell on e-bay really work???

there's a couple of options. take it to a body shop, try PDR or buy a set of body hammers and dollies and try to fix it yourself then go buy some paint and start spraying

PDR (paintless dent removable) is usually pretty fair in price. Two small dents (assuming they could fix it) should run you around $100-$150. If you have to take it into a body shop, prepare to spend the big bucks.

One of my fenders is dented, so I bought a new one. Providing my own fender, local body shops quoted me $700 just to paint the stupid thing. (blending paint with car)

Ridiculous.

you could have fixed those with a glass gripping suction cup. works on those dents that are not severe but not as effective as paintless dent puller, but its a lot cheaper. I always try the cheaper methods first.
