hydro b16 lsd will fit into a integra ls tranny?

 

true- same as R LSD..and thatll fit.

 

does anyone have a how to link with pictures on how to do it correctly. i have a honda shop manual but would like to see the steps. thanks

If that honda shop manual you're talking about is a "Helm's" then it should be all that u need cuz it includes everything even pics; but if not, get a Helm's cuz it's got step-by-step, pics, etc.

What year is your LS tranny?

If its a 92-93/YS1 LS tranny, then you can use a hydro B16 LSD or YS1 LSD (jdm only). Thing is, I'm not sure if the hydro B16 LSD's diameter matches up to a YS1/LS ring gear. That's something you'll have to find out. If it does NOT fit, then you'll have to use the B16 final drive ring gear, which means you will UP your final drive ratio to 4.40 vs. 4.266.

If you own a 90-91 LS tranny (not sure of the tranny code, but think its an S1), you'll have use an LSD from a JDM B16A Y1 tranny, and again, you'll have to see if that specific LSD will bolt up to a 90-91 LS ring gear....

ok then.. you're in good hands.....AlLstate.... ahem....I mean yeah, an ITR or CTR LSD will bolt onto your LS ring gear. A hydro B16 LSD will most likely NOT fit on a hydro LS ring gear since the diameter of the LS ring gear is bigger than that of a hydro B16's ring gear. So to remedy that you'd have to use the hydro B16A final drive ring gear and possibly the final drive shaft.
