Default trouble starting, clutch sensor?

When I turn the key, I just hear a click but it doesn't turn over and start until I pump the clutch once or twice, then it starts right away. Could it be the clutch sensor gone bad or damaged some how? What are some other possible causes?

If there's nothing obvious like a loose or bent bracket, then jumper the wires together. That'll tell you whether the switch is the problem.
