So i figured id get some ideas about what you guys think could be the problem here.
First off its a B16 with a Kaaz LSD in it
So i destroyed a few parts in my transmission(countershaft etc.)
I had a very reputable guy fix it, he replaced the destroyed and bad parts, i also got him to adjust the kaaz clutch packs so that my lock-up ratio would be a little better...from 35%-55%.
After getting the transmission back in, i noticed that there was a pretty loud whine coming from the transmission under deceleration only, and only when the car was in gear, if i touched the throttle at all, the noise would go away. I removed the transmission once more and took it back to this guy, he inspected all the bearings and replaced a couple that were a little noisy. I put it back in, and the trans makes the same noise. The guy i have doing the work is really good at rebuilding transmissions and i trust that he did the work good. He said he did however, notice that the clutch packs in the LSD were a little worn, would this cause this type of noise?

Oh sweet Jesus, finally someone with the same problem as me. Did you figure it out?! I have exactly the same problem, and no one knows what it is. I have an OBX lsd though, not a Kaaz.

 

Damnit, this guy stopped posting on the forum. Anyone know what these symptoms describe?
