hey guys...OK.......this is what happened....my friend in a SVT cobra mustang, said he wanted to race me!....NOW i DO NOT race my car AT ALL!!.......but this gay kid and a bunch of other kids were callin me a ***** and crap.....so i decided to race this guy.......i really didnt care who would win or not.........so we line up, and go.....car is shifting excellently!!......then after 2 runs, my shifter was NOT going into ANY gears......my friend who races ALL the time said that i shouldnt worry about it, my tranny just got hot.....i was like ok.........but i was really worried......anyway today i wanted to drive it, and it took FOREVER to go into 1st gear....and if im in 3rd, and i wanna downshift to 2nd, it is PRETTY HARD......i got an EXEDY Stage 1 organic clutch, and it has like 5,500 miles on it, and it feels great.......

my question is "why is it hard to downshift, and hard to go into 1st??""

do i need to drain my tranny fluid??...and what is the best tranny fluid????
