Default transmission issues...

Sup HT have a 98 gsr I haven't drove it for a while ever since i started working on my 00 gsr, but I drove it today because I need a car to go places and I went to the store and my uncle house and couple of my friend house it was fine... but on the way to get my new tires going in gears is starting to get hard like I have to kinda force it in... and when I slowly press on the clutch half way the clutch pedal was shakes like hell... when I'm at stop lights and put it in neutral car is fine... but when I clutch and put it in any gear (while still stepping on the clutch getting ready to take off on a green light) the car start shaking... as if it's gonna die or it wants to go... its not really noticeable unless you're driving. Could it be the clutch? or am I running out of transmission fluid? or something else... It doesn't make any noises at all... help plz..

kinda sounds like something is out of spec, tight gear clearance or something is being welded together. I would check to see if your leaking trans fluid, or if your low. at least from what it sounds. I had a customer that had that happen. the reverse synchro welded itself to the spacer.

Check transmission oil/fluid level, sounds like it is low. 94

Sounds like clutch pedal is out of adjustment and seeing it just started to happen it could also be a leaky slave or master cylinder and the clutch is not fully disengaging.

alright well i checked it out and turns out i'm leaking transmission fluid from under the tranny where the bolts are, some of them are lose, not sure how... but I tighten them up, but it was slowly leaking not to the point where it drips... I've drain the transmission fluid and it's very low... so I'm planning to get some and just fill it up... not sure what are good transmission fluid but yesterday i went to pepboys and got some valvoline 80w90, is it alright to use these?

the transmission fluid is equivalent to 5w30 (the older transmissions actually call for that), but I would just go to Honda or acura and get some MTF.

Nothing left but to drop the transmission so you can inspect the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel/TO bearing. 94
