So i wont have any problems with the bolt holes or engine stiffing brackets?
Im really looking to get the si tranny for the different gear ratio.

The Si tranny off a 99-00 won't fit your car as it is off a B-series. I recommend any 92-95 Si tranny or any 93-95 Ex as they have the same ratios. The ones off the 96-00 Ex are slightly different but still better than a CX or whatever you have.

Looking at his location im pretty sure ab is Alberta. So that means yes it is fine to use 96-00 si transmission. The US civic ex is equivalent to the civic si in Canada. And the US Si is called the Sir in Canada. Basically what 4g hatch said goes. Any 92-00 D-series tranny will work. Just make sure the mounts that you use are for the specific car it goes in, not the transmission.
