Transmission help

Does anyone know if a automatic trans off of a y8 will work in a 01 civic ex?

no different rotation. ek trans is on pass side of car, em2 is on driver side

Dang.... I was hoping it would work since they were both obd2 d series.

Guess I'm gonna go hit em up lol. Im on my way to pick up the car up for the wife and it needs a trans. I've never delt with this chassis. Thank you for your help

sure it needs a whole trans? maybe have a shop (not all automatics must come out aka aamco). it maybe as simple as tq conveter, fluid pump, clutch shell housing or someother small "hard" part

Just picked up the car, the trans is in the passenger side like all the other d series.
