hi guys how much horsepower does a k series type s tranny hold with just quafie lsd and axles please help

 

i heard alot of people use the base rsx tranny cause its stronger, but ive seen 512hp on a typer

 

lol all k-series transmissions shoudl be the same strength. excluding the LSD ones.


GENERALLY, the weak part of transmissions is the differential. With a quaife, it is much stronger.

Now, if you get some slicks, a 3puck unsprung cluck and a huge pressure plate. With boost, and 8000rpm dumps. don't expect the thing to last very long.

excluding differentials, it's not often that a transmission breaks due to excessive load.
