Default trans "wear" normal?

so, i changed my trans fluid after a month as i wanted to confirm all 2 quarts were still in it after a leak from an HPDE. anyway... i found something i'm pretty sure is even worse....

tons of super-tiny metallic flakes in the fluid. it's completely saturated with it

the tranny still shifts perfectly and has no grinds or notchiness at any RPM.

any thoughts other than "time for a rebuild"? is this even remotely normal? trans has 150k on it.

If the transmission is still operating perfectly, I would not concern myself with it. Just refill it with Honda MTF and enjoy.

I'm no mechanic but I always like to put post. I agree with Padawan. If its tiny shiny reflections, I wouldnt worry. As long as there are no metal slivers and shavings, or worst case chunks, I think its normal. what tranny is it? my teg takes like 2 1/4- 2 1/2 qts

it's a GSR trans. i have only owned the car for 2 months, so i have no idea how it was treated before i got my hands on it.

there is no slivers/chunks/etc in the fluid. only the tiny flakes... like a pearl in paint.

helms specs are 2.2qts for refill, 2.3 for rebuild.

i have confirmed with a local well-respected trans technician that i have absolutely no typical ISB failing noise. no knocking startup, no grinding idle that goes away with clutch release, etc
