I was driving to work today when all of a sudden my tranny wouldnt go into gear. I'm gonna look at it after i get home from work today. If you guys have any ideas what it might be it would help. tia.

 

Wow, all sorts of tranny problems these past couple of days. You will want to check:

1. Clutch fork
2. Clutch (complete assembly)
3. Clutch fluid level (obvious but needs to be checked)

Check the fluid inside the tranny.. If it's bad, most of the time when the tranny is hot it won't go into gear..And if the tranny fluid is BLACK! Change soon

 

I just looked over it and the tranny has fluid and the clutch fluid is fine. Im just hoping its not the clutch or fork.

 

clutch master cylinder maybe?

 

is there a lot of play in the shifter and i mean a lot it could be a inner linkeage problem thats what happened to me

 

where is the inner linkage?

 

I took the clutch off and everything looked fine...but I heard that looks can be deceiving especially on a clutch. I slapped it back together and am going to try replacing the clutch master cylinder, since it was leaking a little. I just dont think thats my problem..Any more suggestions ???

 

have you replaced the tranny fluid yet!!

my gears a really tough to get in. Im finally forking out the money to install my clutchnet stage2 finally after 6 months sitting in my garage

 

You using the right tranny fLuid? Hope you know it takes regular motor oiL?

 

It's gotta be that clutch master cylinder if it's leaking.

 

i just replaced my master cylinder and tranny fluid and still doing the same thing. The pedal feels totally different too. I also hear a loud squeaking sound coming from the the slave cylinder or tranny. The fork along with the clutch looked fine.

 

Mine felt different too after I changed my clutch master cylinder. You can adjust it to your liking.

My tranny wouldn't go into gear once. And 2 miles later the whole tranny siezed. I'll pray for you. Second gear broke and somehow froze the tranny from doing anything.
