Let me know if you get an answer. HAHA. I am sure someone knows the answer but... welcome to the world of not stock. One of my cars does the same thing. It has a quaife diff, jun flywheel, and a steel clutch. My other car has the same but 4puck instead of the steel clutch. Havent driven it enough to know if it squeeks too. But, I' be interested in the answer to this too!!

I just dropped a factory GSR tranny in the car and it still squeaks a little. I think my clutch is going out though. I am gonna have it checked out tomorrow. If they replace anything and the squeaking goes away, I'll let you know. I dont think it has to do with the tranny or the differential though.

its squeaks when the clutch clamps. im thinkin the pressure plate being worn out.

Welcome to the world of cerametallic clutches. They often sqeal like a dying animal when they engage, especially if you have some nice burn marks on your flywheel or friction ring.

Your original post was kind of confusing, but my guess is that it's normal clutch squeal. My competition clutch 6-puck squealed so bad I finally ditched it in favor of a Clutch Specialties which doesn't have any squealing issues. Also, a resurfaced flywheel is a must if it's heavily glazed/burned. Did the pressure plate have a bunch of burn marks on it?

i have not taken my tranny apart but it seems that some people i asked have told me that this is usual. yea should have went with new flywheel and pressure plate but that was what came in hand at the time. thanks for all the info.
