Default tranny problems?

94 ex won't shift in reverse. someone said my sequencial is gone? I don't know. any thoughts?

You can't physically get the shifter to R, or you put it in R and nothing happens?

You mean syncro.....no.

It's your shifter fork....probably bent. Try and roll the car forward a little and then put it in reverse. If that doesn't work you need to rebuild the tranny or get a replacement.

shifter won't go to reverse.

i've also seen a badly worn clutch keep the a car from shifting into reverse.
