Default tranny problem please help!

I have a 94 integra ls 5 speed. The problem i have is that my tranny is leaking fluid from the passanger side axle seal that ive already replaced. The real problem i have is i can move the axle around while its in the tranny. What could this be. Thanks for any help.

You can move it after it's been installed? Are you 100% sure you have the correct axle? If not, that could explain your "faulty" axle seal...

I'm guessing you can make it wobble...
That's a sure fire sign of a diff that's ready to go.
When it's wobbling, it stretches the diameter of the seal opening and lets it leak.

Do yourself a favor and throw in an OBX LSD before it goes and blows the whole thing up. The labor is easy enough. Just need the diff, some oil, and a tube of rtv...

I'm having exactly the same problem. Same year and model integra. It's been for six months now. I bought a new axel and tranny oil seal. Do you think it can be fixed without having to buy an LSD?

There should be a little bit of play in the axle, but if you really suspect you screwed up the diff, pull the axle out and pry a screwdriver in there and see if the bearings are toasted. Make sure you replace the seal with an OEM Honda one, the aftermarket autozone specials are a loose fit, as this problem plagued me for a very long time.

Great! Today I started to hear clunking noise when I take sharp turn to the right. It sounds like the noise is coming from the inboard CV joint where the leak is. That might explain the condition of the diff!
