Default Tranny fluid?

I have a 96 LS and have a GSR tranny laying around waiting for my clutch to come in. so before it does come in, my question is, what tranny fluid should i run in it. I have an ACT 6 puck clutch and 7.5lb fidanza flywheel coming. I am running a 75 shot of nitrous on my LS. Any suggestion would help a great deal. One of my friends told me to run royal purple. Which viscosity do I need to run if i do go with RP?

Thanks in advance.

I have used 10W-30 for years per the owners manual.

But if your serious get some Honda manual tranny fluid.

It really is better.

It's what we use in the race cars tranny.

I strongly recommend Honda MTF, although a lot of people also like the friction modified GM Syncromesh(not the regular stuff, and not the Penzoil stuff). As stated above, you can also substitute plain 10w30 dyno oil of your choice, and it will run fine, but lacks the additives that the Honda MTF has that prolong synchro life.
