3/8" ratchet is all you need.

Go for the little bolt, the big 30mm plug is for access to the countershaft lockring.

i was trying to change my tranny fluid today and i couldn't get the damned filler bolt out.. the reason i was doing the filler first and not the drain is because if i had drained the tranny and not able to take off the filler...that would be a little bit of a problem

so i ended up not doing it

i have to find a way to get that damn bolt loose

So far, got the tranny drained, engine out with minor damage to the radiator, but still am not sure which one is the filler bolt for tranny. Pictures from the manual suck! If you can zero me in & I find an easier way to get it out, I'll let ya know.

On the side of the trany where it bolts up to the motor, along the bottom you will see a 3/8 rachet fitting, loosen and voila!!!

On my Integra, if you're sitting on the ground, facing the passenger side of the car, looking at the tranny, the filler bolt is the 17mm bolt to the left & just slightly below where the passenger axle goes into the tranny.

On my accord, it was nearly impossible w/ just a ratchet or wrench. I ended up using a 24" breaker bar to loosen it (which did it very easily).

On my prelude, the filler bolt is above and to the left of the drain plug, dont know if it is the same on you integra but it seems like it.

For the uninitiated, I recommend loosening the filler/check bolt first. There is no point in draining the oil if you are unable to re-fill it.
