Would I be better off selling my used GSR tranny (115K miles on it) and buying a JDM ITR tranny, or should I just rebuild mine with an LSD, and FD, and possibly ITR 1-3rd and LS 5th for highway mileage?

Opinions? Thoughts?

Oh, this is my daily drive. I'm building for 200whp. How much could I get for my GSR tranny?

 

I like the thought of building the GSR tranny with the JDM final drive. The gearing would be better than a USDM Type R's. But I'd just sell it and buy the JDM ITR tranny.

 

Rebuild it, you don't know what you are going to get with JDM- it might end up being worn our or abused.

 

build the one that you already have, that is the safest most practical way to go!
