Default TPS Sensor

I've searched around and nothing came up for my problem.

I bought a brand new TPS sensor for my B16 first gen and well I'm having problems with it.

The big issue is when I ajust it I can only get .30v out of it max turned, .02 when all the way ajusted the other way.

All the way over @ .3v makes my car run like **** and well I've left it at .15v where the sensor sits in the middle and car runs great exept for the CEL coming on.

Any ideas what it could be?

Is it an aftermarket TPS sensor? Are you sure you have that little knub on the TPS lined up with the TB? Are you probing the correct wire?

If its lined up correctly and your checking the correct wire for voltage the tps is faulty. Its actually pretty common with the honda acura line getting older.

http://www.Kingmotorsports.com has replacement tps sensors if your looking to get a new one.
