Default TPS problem......

Hey, I have a problem. Recently, sometimes when I floor my car, the CEL comes on right at vtec. When it comes on my car seemed to feel like it pulled like ****. This was proven at the tracks. When the CEL stays off my times are roughly 14.3-14.4@97 or 98 mph. When the CEL comes on I run 15.4-15.6@89 or 90 mph. I checked the CEL and it reads the TPS. I checked the voltage readings on the TPS and it was fine, .46 at rest and 4.5 at WOT. Is there a way to fix this or should I get a new TPS?

Default Re: TPS problem...... (blu3g)

if u have a scope... or scan tool....even a dmm..... do a tps sweep..... at idle ur tps should read around .5 volts...wot it should be 4.5-5 volts..... use the signal ground wire for the ground and obouisly the signal wire...gradually bring vehicle from idle to wot. u should gradually go up voltage wise... if u see a glitch or erratic reading.... replace tps.
