so my buddies 99 ex was throwing code 7, so we assumed tps was bad. replaced it, set at about .55 volts, and still have a checklight! wiring is getting signal at all ends. will something else on the car throw that code? is it an ecu problem? any help would be great

 

do you have the right plug going to it? the map and tps plugs are the same, hope you didn't get it backwards
