i have done this on my old car(acura legend).
some tips:

1. just use a dremel to slot the screws holding the tps senso, then use a screw driver to loosen.. you can reuse the screws or replace it with hex heads after.

2. use an accurate multimeter/voltmeter. i used an older cheaper one, and it didnt work for me the first time. after using a better one, i was able to dial it in properly and had no more problems.

I adjusted mine at wot, then tightened it down. From there i adjusted the throttle body idle stop screw to set the closed tps reading. Retested closed, wot, and that values steadily increase between and was good. Pretty easy

you should never, under any real circumstances, adjust the throttle stop screw....it's not the idle stop screw...it's the throttle stop screw...it's jobs is to allow the throttle plate to close as close as possible to the throttle body without actually touching it..it has no real idle capabilities

Yes, my bad, got words mixed up when typing. I would assume that if you had a working tps, setting it at the correct position for wot would be require the setting of the screw to adjust closed tps.

In any case, my new throttle body came with the screw not set, so i needed to set it anyways, so that's why i set mine
