Default tps

i swapped a b16a into my crx and when the motor was shipped the tps sensor was broken so i used the one from my stock crx si motor (d16a6) is that going to be ok it seems to run ok but it bogs out at lower rpms

It needs to be set at .45 volts at fully closed throttle. You'll notice the holes on it are egg shaped. Adjust it accordingly.

Also, make sure the plastic tab on the sensor lines up in the middle of the 2 tabs on the trottle plate mechanism. You kind of have to put the TPS sensor in at a different angle first to get the tabs to line up, and then spin the TPS ears to mount.

In other words, the spring loaded TPS mechanism cant be in the full rest position when it finally gets mounted to the throttle body.

I tried my best to explain, but if you have it in front of you, you will know what I mean. When the TPS sits mounted on your throttle body at CLOSED throttle position......the spring loaded tab on the TPS is NOT at its full rest position.
