Default Toyo Proxe FZ4?

Just lookin for anyone that has them or has opinions on them. Right now on my steelies I got 195-60-14 Potenza RE950s and I have a set of 15x6 alloys that I am putting 205-55015 on. I can get these tires aligned, balanced, etc. for $521 out the door. They are $129 a piece but the kid said he'd give me wholesale at $91 a tire.

any opinions or people with them shout out.

I went through about 2 sets of those tires, they suck IMO. The sidewalls end up cracking after a year or so. Properly inflated and everything too.

They came on a Miata that a friend bought used. He was very unhappy with them. Not very sticky on the street, and they got really greasy on the third autocross run (on a hot day). He sold them on eBay and bought ES100's.

Er, I somehow put a stray in during my last edit...

I have two of them sitting in my house that were used for ~300 miles, I removed them because the 2 other rims were stolen, and I turned those rims into drag rims.

If you want I can sell them to you rather cheaply...

They sucks for drag racing. I got them on my car right now, because my friend works at Tire Kingdom, he got those for me like 70 a piece. It was cheap but waste of money. Don't BUY them, if you know what's good for you.

That's because it's an all season tire designed for all seasons...not autocrossing.

They claim it's a "high performance" all season. I've autocrossed on Bridgestone RE910's and they did a hell of a lot better than the FZ4's. So did the Dunlop all-seasons that the same guy had on his Civic before he bought the Miata.

And as I said, he wasn't happy with their traction on the street, either.

Funny how the only guy who's not ragging on them has a set to sell, huh?
