Default Tools For Build

Been searching on HT for awhile and can't seem to find a solid thread on tools everyone uses to build their motors.

I'm building a vitara d16z6 and don't know what kind of ring expander, ring compressor, or anything related to that area. I've been looking around and I've seen many that come with a bunch of different measurements and etc. And just don't know what to get.

So I hope any builders can chime in.

I used a billet Summit ring grinder, an ARP tapered 84mm ring compressor, a Summit ring expander, a Summit (I think) rod bolt stretch gauge, green plastigage, clevite bearing guard, a $30 harbor freight engine stand, a tiny oil can, and some latex gloves. And you'll need a hammer with a rubber striking end to get the rod caps off.
