Default Too much RICE BURNER sound...!!

Ok, so before my 2.5" cat back, my car sounded ****** nice and hollow!!!I only had a DC Sports 4-1 Racing Header, stock piping, and a 3" Stainless Steel Muffler...my 97 Civic Ex Sounded beautifully then. I bought a 2.5" Cat Back System that came with a 4.5" Muffler...it sounded like ****...so I had the silencer plasma cutted. It sounded slightly better but not the dramatic difference I was expecting. Would you guys recommend me get my stock piping back...just keep the 4.5" muffler and the DC Sports header?(oh and right now I dont have a catalyc converter)... AND TOTALLY OFF THE SUBJECT BUT ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING AN APEXi VAFC2?

buddy club spec II baby. sounds beastly. its increadibly loud without the silencer and a test pipe. my buddy has the same exhaust but with a hollowed cat and silencer and it sounds perfect. it runs for about $450 on ebay and its 2.5". i would try a diff exhaust. if your funds allow. mine sure dont.
