Default Tokico Illums blown?

Bought used off of ebay (said to be 2-3000 miles) Installed and the next day I have a puddle of oil under one shock. Its under the rear one, seems to be coming from where the cylinder of the shock meets the fork. I can not see any damage though.

Am I screwed? Ive already filed a complain with paypal.

Yes, if oil is coming out of it then it's shot. That happened to me when I used stock shocks with eibach sportlines on my 4th gen lude. That sucks that you got scammed, you can't trust anyone these days.

tokico illums have a life time warranty but only if you havent damage the rod i.e used a pair of vicegrips to hold the shaft to loosen the bolt
