Default Tinted Windows and dealing with having them

I hope this is the appropiate place to mention this, but I have tints on my driver side and passenger side windows. Of course this is not legal where I live, so I was wondering how anyone here or people you know deals with this. particularly getting through inspection. It seems to be a popular mention to me by friends and family and I'd hate to have to get rid of them.

Well I don't know how it is right over there but here in PA you can have the back window tinted (one with the defroster) and also the rear side windows. You can have those as dark as you want. But the front side windows and the windshield cannot be touched unless they're that way from the factory. To save headaches I'd just get rid of the side tint however I have had all windows tinted before and passed inspection fine. It just seems to be a headache from the police.
