Default Timming issue

Hey ht i need help. so i had b18b short block assembled and was with oem main caps. now i have arp and i had trq down to 80ft-lb as arp site said and in the right sequence... HOWEVER crank won't rotate it feels as if its way too tight! ANY HELP OR BUMP would be appreciated thanks

did it rotate before? get some green plastigauge and check your clearances

When you use ARP studs for mains, you need to have the mains line hones with the arp's torqued.

Or use a bearing with the next bigger clearance. which isn't recommended.

Same caps that came with the block? Different caps wont work,they need to be matched to the block.

you can use different caps, just has to go to the machine shop
