Default Timing troubles on GSR hatch...

So I'm trying to set my timing to 16* BTDC but when I aim the light at it I only see 2 marks on the crank pulley, one white and one pink, which one do I set it to?

It's a '98 GSR converted to OBDI, the timing light is the kind w/o the dial, just reads on the #1 cylinder wire, any ideas?

And my crank timing is fine too.

Thanks.

The red mark (or pink if its old and faded) is the mark you want to use, that is the factory timing mark, and will put you right on the button. Make sure to jump the SCS connector at a hot idle to get the correct timing. The white mark is the crank TDC mark, and you may ignore it.
