Timing Question D16y8

any sites that i can go on to get info...

i got a new belt on and i am skipping like a 1/2 of a pulley of teeth.. WHY?? can anyone help??

it happened to me when I forgot to read the part in the manual about turning the crank to tighten the belt before finally screwing in the adjustment screw.
