timing problem

Default timing problem

my gsr engine is running at 8 degrees and my distributor is moved all the way toward firewall, is there any problem of the engine? what can cause the timing is wrong?
acura mechanic said something is telling the computer to retard the timing, is that right?

are you jumping the service connector?
even if you didnt timing wouldnt change that much.
check your cam timing
