timing problem

Default timing problem

i gots a 95 vx and im tryn to set my timing but here is the thing..i shorted out the connector to set the timing but its to advance..i retarded it all the way and i cant go anymore..im thinking it jumped 1 or 2 teeth on the timing belt..i check the dizzy but i dont think its the dizzy..or is it can anyone help me with this issue?

if u set the crank on TDC were's the marking on the cam gear?
