TIMING Differences b16 vs. GSR

Default TIMING Differences b16 vs. GSR

are there any differences between a b16 and gsr as far as timing. basically, i have a b16a2 block w/ a '00 gsr head w/ a b16a disstributor. Im going to do a valve job and want to make sure that the timing is also correct. any help will be thankful...need to do my valve adjustment in a few hours.....

the timing would be just like a normal B16. 16 degrees BTDC. Adjust the valve lash to GSR specs.

Yup, just as notstock93 said 16º BTDC is stock timing... As for the valve lash, all B series VTEC motors are the same at 0.007" on the IN and 0.008" on the EX...
