Default timing belt question

are gsr timing belts the same size as a b16 timing belts? the reason I ask is because i have a b16 block with a gsr head and the timing belt seems too short. do i need a gsr?

The gsr belt should be larger due to the taller deck height of the b18 block.

not sure.. Are you sure that the b16 is too short. You have the tensioner loose and it will not fit up? Is it even close to fitting?

I got it figured out. The b16 worked after I played with it for a while

They do go on pretty tight. It would take alot to snap a timing belt, especially a new one.
