timing belt guide question
I'm putting a newly built motor together and when I went to put the timing belt on I noticed I only had one belt guide plate and I thought there was supposed to be 2 of them. I checked the helms manual and it only shows one and then I checked my haynes manual and it says some have 2 and some only have one. I just need to know how many there are supposed to be and if only one which side does it go on. Thanks

Just make sure you put it on faceing the correct direction. The rounded side guides the belt.
If you only have one, may be your's only came with one.

Sorry it's a b18c. Well I don't know if it only came with one or I lost one. It has been about a year since I took the old motor apart and I have moved twice since then so I that's why I'm not sure. thanks for the input though.
