Which timing belt is better?
sorry did a search and didnt find anything that would answer my question?
im looking for a stock replacement
why do people say the honda one is better than for example a goodyear gatorback?
any help would be appreciated.

couldn't tell you if aftermarket ones are actually better but hondas belt is a knowquantity, a lot of people have used them and have experience with them. people know that they're good for 90-100k, if you up hps, and drive hard then its best to change at 60k. stuff like that besides if you buy your honda belt at hondaautomotiveparts.com, its 35 bucks, can't be too much more expensive than an aftermarket belt with unknown properties.
I don't normally buy OEM parts for maintenance. But when I had my TB and waterpump replaced I made sure to use OEM parts. I just felt more comfortable using OEM parts and also because the TB isn't something easily replaced.

OEM Honda...nothin beats oem quality proven time and time again, my friend uses a Toda belt, great piece but 180 bucks, oem is best IMO
