Default time for a new suspension

i have a 98 hatch and was wondering what the best suspension was for the money. I was thinking about buying the Tein SS coilover shocks because i will have to raise and lower the car according to the seasons. Does anyone have experience with them? Ive heard only good things about them. Im in the 1000 price range. Anyone have any other suggestions? Heres a pic of the car

My CRX has Skunk2 coils and koni yellows on it. Its a pretty good setup, and has the adjustability you're looking for. Also, for the price it can't be beat in my opinion. Spend the $600 here and save the rest for your engine swap.

I have the SS's on my CRX; I'm very happy with them. For recreational and DD use they are a good mix of ride and handling.

They're excellent coilovers and a decent value. The only thing that would give me pause is that I've heard they don't hold up well to harsh winters, like us Northerners get. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
