throttle rotor???
Hey guys, I was watching some show on Speedvision, and they were installing a Throttle rotor on a civic SI... its this little rotor where the throttle cable wraps around ... I turned the channel before the show told us what it does/advantages.
Whats the advantage of this? anyone heard of it? what companies make these rotors?

Weapon R made/makes one. Supposedly lighter weight = better throttle response. I have no personal experience with this product though so I can't say whether it works or not.
They probably change the diameter of it thus changing the speed of the throttle plate opening.
Not sure if that is what they do, but it makes sense to me. I just dont think that it would be worth upgrading unless it was the last thing you could possibly buy.

I have a Weapon R Throttle Rotor. Works great. Beyond quicker response and yeah, the gas pedal is pretty touchy and stiff.
Probably taking it off later today. I'm going back to stock all the way around.
