Default throttle rotor

I heard on hi-rev turners that it will increase throttle response by up to 50%...Anyoen have any thoughts on this or is just for look? They are about 30 bucks and they come in pretty colors like pink . What do you guys think? thanks

what the **** is a throttle rotor?

the only think i can think of is the butterfly that connects to the throttle cable @ throttle body.

Just tighten your throttle cable a bit. It's FREE!
if you tighten your throttle cable outside of spec, it will just get stretched and
you will have to do it again, and if you keep tightening it, eventually you will
have to replace it.

If I remember correctly, it's a cam shaped rotor that increases throttle response by 50% for the 80% of people that don't know how to drive.

It fakes a gradual application of power rather than the 'slam the pedal to the floor' mentality a lot of people have.


EDIT: I'm wondering how 'low-IQ idiots' er *cough* hi-rev tuners measured throttle response.
