Default throttle body spacers

Any ideas if these "throttle body spacers" really work?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33558

They claim "receive tremendous torque gains between 900 to 3500 RPM, noticeable towing capability, quicker acceleration and improved throttle response as well as an increase up to 30 miles per tank of gas."

Thing is though, they didn't post any gain figures (hp), whitch usually means that it's a scam. All they say is "you can feel."

1) You will be able to "feel" it in your wallet but that's about all.

2) Don't post linkt to ebay. Bad juju there!

the most that any car will gain from a tbs is 1 maybe 2 hp (not dyno proven so don't jump me). what you will gain from them is a more even distribution of n2o across all cylinders. when using n2o you normaly dumps more juice in cylinder #1 than the other 3. hope this helps you out. btw beware of fake, lame parts that float around ebay. what the seller is calling a helixical tbs may just be some guy haveing fun with a drill.
