Default Throttle body question

Quick question but I'm sure its open to much debate. who by your experience only please, does the best job and price for boring out B series throttle bodies or would I just be better off buying a aftermarket throttle body.

First of all unless you have more mods for your b18c5 not worth it!!!

I did the same and untill I put larger headers and more agressive cams did I need the larger tb. Otherwise it just bogs down, i.e. you can only use 75% of throttle, response is slower!!!

Dont do it yet!!

yup... definetly not worth it... if you want to spend your money wisely get Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pullies... I have a 98 LS and they are well worth the money... i don't see why more people don't do this... i wish i had done it sooner

well I was getting ready to do it since I already have crower 63402 cams, skunk 2 high comp valves, Itr intake manifold, and a DC header. And a few other things so I'm thinking the throttle body would work pretty well with this setup. Also what is a good size to have it bored out to, BTW whats the biggest size a B16A throttle body can be bored out to.

AEM did my GSR throttle body for $120 about 5 years ago. Not too sure if they still do little work like that.
