I did a swap from an SOhc vtec to a LS and my LS throttle body has a broken TPS sensor. So i tried to use da sohc vtec TB but it comes with da Fast Idle Valve under the throttle body. And it doesnt fit cause the Ls manifold comes with one on it already. So i took da Fast Idle valve off the Sohc vtec TB, but it has ports opened. Will the throttle body be good enough if i cover up those ports with JB weld. I mean the LS TB didnt even have the Fast Idle Valve, since its already on the Manifold.

 

Why don't you just swap the TPS's.

 

I have no idea how to swap them. It doesnt come wit a screw that u can screw out.

 

Use a Dremel (w/ a cut-off wheel) to make notches in the rivet heads, then you can use a flat head screw driver to unscrew the TPS.

 

What if i dont have a dremel? And i have no idea what a river head is.

 

use some kind of cutting wheel, a rivet head is what holds the tps to the tb

Go and get one, they are pretty cheap and come in handy all the time..
