Are you trying to measure the resistance of the O2 sensor (don't see why you would do this)?
or
Are you trying to measure the voltage fluctuation of the 02 sensor?
or
Are you trying to figure out how an O2 sensor works?

OK, i understand electronic circuts and the two things in the box joined with green dots are a capacitor and a resistor.

these two componants when used in conjunction with each other form a filter circut.

this circut will only allow a certain range of frequency to pass through the circut (you bass and treble ***** on your stereo are similar)

so i guess it is trying to modify the O2 signal sent to the ECU and trying to tell it something is different...

dunno what, maybe you could enlighten us on what it s for?

Oh...my dumass forgot to ask the real question...
Iam confuse with which wires to solder with all that stuff.
so i know two resistor for both wires and join them together with the
capacitor?

solder the 'black' wire to the capacitor

solder the 'grey' wire to the resistor

solder the other capcitor leg to hte other resistor leg and then solder the capacitor and resistor legs to hte ECU wires.

just like hte diagram.

or use a simple board to hold the componants and solder the wires to that...

maybe goto radio shack and ask for assistance...

as long as it is a tantalum,

the voltage rating is MAX volts it can do... so it will be OK,

how can i tell is tantalum? I really have no idea or what so every about those thing
again..so I can use a tantalum 1uf in any volts?
sorry to be annoying but yeah...thx

tantalum are more expensive because they use higher grade materials, ie tantalum

it should look like a grain of rice i guess, or more like a small plastic bead with two legs,

eg

you should use 35V or higher...

HTH,

yep, the 1uf is the value of the "capacitance",

the voltage is the maximum voltage rating of the componant.

just solder both resistors, still have to look for the capacitor in another radio shack.
So i can find the shrink wrap in radio shack too right?
thank, dude! you been really helpful!
for you

is that it? someone actually did the bypass told me that the sensor only set off the warning light and it have nothing to do with running lean/rich...
BTW i am talking about the sensor for the oem cat.
So what can i do the bypass that sh_t?

all you mother ***** is a dumb ****
here is wat that picture say
the o2 sensor is input sensor to your ecm dat control your fuel amount to push into ur car
o2 determance how much fuel is add or take away from the car
that picture saying dat if you modify the sensor and put a resister to the "input" to ecm u will fool ecm to add more fuel or watever you want it to do by increase the resistance in the circuit or decrease it. o2 sensor volts. 0-1, 1=rich condition .50 volt lean. .so on .......

its cool, the cat O2 sensor is used to monitor hte condition of the cat converter itself, and will set a code if it is outside set parameters.

it seems that this circut will ensure that the O2 sensor does not send signals beyond these parameters...

i hope it works
