Default For those with Tokico, or Koni shocks...

Where did you guys buy your shocks? I've done some research lately, and have narrowed it down to Tokico, and Neuspeed/Koni for my shock. The Illuminas, or the Yellows.

I've heard good things about the Illuminas, and they are a couple hundred dollars less than the Yellows. Is it really worth it to spend the extra money?

After looking around, I found the Illuminas for about $110 per shock. That seem right to you guys? And how are the Tokico Blues?

Any help you guys provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i paid around 220 shipped for the tokico blues. i had 2 cars with them on it now and i love it. how often do you plan on changing the rate? if you dont race it i say blues are good. i have a set or gab 4-ways on my crx too and they are on 1 and hard as ****.

I'm not going to be involved in any track, or auto-x events, or anything to that effect. Just mainly for daily driving. So I will hardly ever have to change the rate.

if you don't plan on auto x, track events, etc, etc, then koni yellows would be a total and complete waste of money.

Okay, scratch the Yellows off the list. How about some more opinions on Tokico Blues?

Mainly, I just need a shock to I can adjust once upon installation, and it'll be fine for my daily driving. No auto-x. No track stuff. Just daily driving. It just has to be good enough to support a drop on Sportlines, or Pro-Kit.

Illuminas are awesome. About 100 trips down the track and counting. I would buy another set if I had more cars

Pretty much narrowed it down to Tokico Blues, and Koni Reds. Even though the Reds are adjustable, I've heard they are a bitch to adjust because you actually have to take apart the shock, and alter it internally.

That's what I'm probably going to do. Cheaper than the Reds, and you seem to like them.

Where can you get them for that price? Best price I found was $255 plus $30 shipping from eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...78471
