Default are these symptoms related??

1. my A/F ratio gauge used to bounce back and forth from lean to rich at idle. now it bounces only between lean and stoich.
it still bounces back and forth while driving, though not as far into rich as it used to.
when on the gas it reads "rich" as before. that has not changed.
2. car seems to run a tiny bit rough at idle
3. the inside of my exhaust looks to be a lighter grey color, as opposed to the dark black it used to be

are these symptoms related in any way?

the last two times at the track i've used 114 octane gas.. would that explain the grey in the exhaust?

i'm just worried 'cause i need to take a few trips out of town. i want to make sure this is not a serious problem.

You could be running lean, go get it checked out.

My gauge did that too I would also like to know what caused that. I brought my car to a shop and hooked it up to wideband and it said I was running fine. Could it be the gauge or somthing else, i've tried changing my o2 sensor that didn't work. Has anyone else had a similar problem.
