Default Are these compression test results excessive ?

Greets , new to Honda tech and this is my first post. ok I recently acquired a 94 eg 5 speed cx hatch bone stock as near as I can tell. I've been sorting through it as time permits and got around to compression testing the engine today.

engine : d15b8 dry test only cyl 1 200 cyl 2 200 cyl 3 205 cyl 4 205
these numbers seem really high...I was expecting 170-180ish

did the testing correctly. I unplugged the primary on the dizzy and held the gas pedal to floor to disable injectors while cranking,i know this has no bearing on results just explaining my methods. searched my 92-95 factory service man pdf and didn't find specs other then finding 9.1-1 ratio I could not find compression test limits specs...again d15b8.... anyone have the numbers top and fall out bottom? thanks in advance! best regards Dave
P.S. my numbers are close together and I feel the bottom end is strong as heck with 200k on it... but want the numbers

Not all gauges read the same. What you are really looking for is the variation between cylinders. With the numbers you have, I see nothing to worry about.

At least they're consistent, my next question may sound silly but during the testing did you have all the plugs out and was the engine warmed up?

Ditto both the above^^^.

Numbers look very good, if test was done properly.

Test must be done with warm engine and all plug removed.

Injectors must be disabled, easy to do by just unplugging the PGM-FI Main Relay. 94

how many times did you crank it? i usually do 6 so i keep it consistent and can compare over time.

the motor could also have a bunch of carbon build up in the cyl taking up space and increasing compression. however, id say you are good to go based off of how even everything is

those numbers should make for a good running engine. 200 to 205psi is what a 2.5% difference? that is nothing.
