Default Temperature sender mounting on H22A

Right underneath the distributor, there is what I assume to a water (or head?) temperature sender with a single red wire attached to it. Towards the rear of the engine, right on the corner of the head just above the intake manifold are two holes blocked off by allen-head plugs. I think one or both of these are taps for oil pressure.

Unless I'm mistaken, the engine is from a 1993 JDM Prelude. Thoughts? Am I right? I plan on using autometer guages for the temp. and oil pressure (it's 98 degrees out here and will top 108 before the summer is over), since both are very important to me... I want to see what's going on without cutting the head apart.
