hopefully your using it in a turbo application. the y1 has a final drive like a LS tranny. the j1 would have a higher final drive which would most likely be better for an all motor application since u want to burn through the gears quicker as opposed to staying in gear longer for the turbo to spool.

its all motor but tracktion is a big issue in my case that y i got ht lsd
